Thierry Breton, Internal Market Commissioner for the European Commission, conferred with Netflix CEO Reed Hasting on Thursday, asking that Netflix moderate its data usage by downgrading its video streams from High Definition (HD) to Standard Definition (SD).
Well well… inch by inch… next it’ll be ‘non-essential’ traffic, then it’ll be ‘undesirable’ content. The last thing standing will be porn sites. Because people who work for the government have to be able to work from home too.
