Big respect to the guy hollering at the elephant in the room….
He goes on:
Mr King, a Republican Congressman from the State of New York, placed a two minute rant on the website in which he also called the deceased singer a "child molestor" and a "low life".
"Let’s cut out the psychobabble. This guy was a pervert. He was a child molestor, he was paedophile, and to be giving this much coverage to him day in and day out, what does it say about us and our country? It’s so politically correct," he said.
"There is nothing good about this guy. He may have been a good singer, done some dancing, but the bottom line is would you allow your child or grandchild to be in the same room with Michael Jackson. That would be horrifying."
Speaking outside a fire station King said more thought should be given to Americans dying in Afghanistan and people doing difficult jobs like firefighters and teachers.
His comments are likely to inspire a backlash in America where Michael Jackson has been hailed as a hero.
Eh? The only hero in this story is Peter King.
As I said the other day:
Of course, his boy bumming credentials are conveniently glossed over.
Who’d have thought Gary Glitter would ever have cause for righteous indignation????
All hail!
AJ

He’s right.
Of course it should be stated that more people will be speaking out ‘bravely’ not Jacko is dead, what with the libel laws being what they are on dead people.
So, yeah, he’s right, but would there be so much public honesty about on the subject from high up figures if Jacko was still alive?

You’re quite right… Can’t libel the dead, old bean…. which is why I’m amazed this isn’t expressed more widely.
My parents’ generation seem to share our view openly though…..

I’ve got no time at all for the baby dangling freak and wish that they’d just hurry up and bury the nutter without further fuss and headlines, but as far as the possible boy bumming goes innocent until proven guilty applies just as much to overrated surgery addicted pop stars with some fucking serious head problems as it does to someone thought to be a nonce because he took a few photographs of his kid at the school’s sports all inclusive, non competitive, prizes for all, games day. No, I wouldn’t have left my (non-existent) kids in his care, but that’s because he’d struck me as being a delusional, narcissistic window licker and completely irresponsible since the early 80s (the baby dangling thing years later just confirmed it for me). In fact there are loads of non-paedos that I wouldn’t allow to look after a child of mine – as the joke goes, I wouldn’t want my kids to go on holiday with the McCanns… but I don’t think they’re paedos.

Fair comment, fella.
But the fact remains, he’s admitted on TV that he encouraged kids to sleep in his bed with him.
Are you going to tell me it’s a regression thing and he/it isn’t sexual in anyway?
